Windows Phones Applications Reach 40 Thousands
Windows Operating System still trying to catch up from the iPhone and Android in the matter of the application. It seems Windows must try harder with the number of applications they have today.
Accord with All About Windows Phone site’s, Windows Phone Marketpace application Store currently only filled about 40 thousand applications. Predicted, will reach 50 thousand in January 2012.
Windows Phone was started to get attention from the developers of applications, primarily its alliance with Nokia. In the past 90 days only, as many as 11 thousand new applications filed by the developer. Most of the applications in Windows Phone Marketplace are games that includes a 15% percentage. Followed by books and references, and productivity tools.
With the amount of 40 thousand applications, Windows Phone Marketplace is still far behind if compared with the Android Market and the App Store. Apple’s App Store now has 500 thousand applications and Android Market has 400 thousand applications.
