Toshiba Unveils Excite X10 Tablet
Toshiba may not be number one for the affairs of the tablet, but thi Japanese electronics company is to enliven the tablet market with Excite X10 which was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2012. This tablet has a level of super thinness of 0.3 inch, thinner than the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, and has been using Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
This 10-inch tablet comes out with a TI OMAP 4420 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 1,280 x 800 screen resolution, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, a 5-megapixel shooter at the back, micro USB, mini HDMI out, microSD card slot. The Toshiba Excite X10 runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb and will be shipped at mid-first quarter, but later batches will arrive with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The tablet also comes with its a native media player with DLNA compatibility, Toshiba File Manager, Netflix, and QuickOffice. It also has an app that enables users to screen grab, something that other Android devices lack. there is no information about the price of Toshiba Excite X10.
