Ivy Bridge New Generation Intel Processors
Intel is preparing to launch its latest generation of processors. The processor is claimed to be the fastest processors from Intel and made by carrying the 22nm fabrication process. Intel Ivy Bridge is the successor to Intel processors on the market today.
Intel Ivy Bridge has been equipped with 22 nm chips that provide a new transistor technology with a switch on / off in the center of the chip that makes the power more efficiently. Intel hopes Ivy Bridge can support a new generation of Windows computers 8-based at the same time stimulates the latter declining PC sales.
To anticipate the threat of ARM that its chip architecture is dominant used in mobile devices, Architecture Ivy Bridge is expected to compete with efficiency of the ARM chip which also supported Windows 8.
Intel announced that the first stage of the launch of Ivy Bridge family for desktop computers and will be shipped on April, 19 2012. Then the Ivy Bridge for the laptop and ultrabook will be distributed later.
